I want to lose 20 pounds in a month or two(before wrestling season starts.) I don't have a lot will power, so diets aren't for me. What are some do's and don't's.

If you can't/won't recude your calorie intake by dieting, then you have to BURN those extra calories off instead…

For each pound you lose, you need to burn/lose 3500 calories - a strict regiment of working out (weight training) three times a week, plus cardio EVERY DAY (as a warmup on weight days, more intense the others) - should get you where you want to be ;););)

I have tried the Atkins and lost a good amount of weight but I have burned out on it. Have you ever heard of the Gabbage diet and does it work?

I am 15 and weigh about 170 lbs. I need to lose weight desperately. I have access to a treadmill, many fitness videos, a Wii Fit, and a stationery bike. What would be a good fitness plan to help me lose weight fast and easy but also healthily? I don't want one of those 2-week fitness plans that never works and is horrible for your body.

Exercise is the best way to lose weight, specifically running. Work up to running an hour a day four or five days a week. that should keep the weight off and you won't have to watch your diet as closely.

I dont want anything to do with pills or stupid "as seen on tv" ideas. I also dont want any excercise suggestions because thats a given in a weight loss plan.

I think it depends on your body type– if you are carb intolerant or calorie intolerant. For me, I am carb intolerant and when I lower my carb intake, I can lose 10-15 lbs in a month the first month. It slows quickly after the first month. Keep in mind, I am also doing proper exercise with cardio and strength training while lowering my carbs. And I am not completely cutting out carbs, just lowering (no soda, easy on the fruit, no candy, cake ect). But if I do not keep at it, I gain it back pretty easily as well. Also, do not starve yourself. Eat 5-6 small meals all day instead of one or two meals. Eating small meals spread throughout the day helps your body to know it wont be starving and keeps that metabolism up.
