My basic soup recipe: 1 onion 1 large stick celery 6 large carrots 1 vegetable stock cube Water or milk (milk makes a creamy soup if you like that) Olive oil 1 bay leaf Chop the onion and celery and saute lightly in some olive oil until slightly softened in a large pan. Then slice the carrots and add them to the pan along with the stock cube and bay leaf.
