I would like to know what are all the home/herbal remedies which we are using in day to day life to cure or to bring down the blood sugar level down? How to make them and use?

There are none. If that were the case, Diabetes would not be a problem.

In the hospital we use IV's of Dextrose and potassium to bring down really high blood sugar levels but it still takes some time. It's not instant. If there was a remedy that accomplished this, don't you think the health care industry will try and capitalize on this? The only way to bring down glucose levels is proper diet and exercise and medication as prescribed by your physician.

There are some herbal preparations that will lower blood sugar but are not advised to take unless monitored by a physician. Some of them will lower blood sugar rapidly and can be dangerous to diabetics. Using herbs or other alternative means to lower blood sugar are not recommended unless monitored by a qualified medical practitioner.

" Proper dietary practices, enabling the Amino Sugars, found in specific fruits and vegetables, will reduce blood sugar to normal and acceptable, functional physiological levels.

When animal fats are broken down, and thus denatured, and utilized as your primary sugar source;( making sugar from fats ); they will most certainly be rejected by your cells, and accumulate within your blood stream.

The diagnosis of Diabetes, will then be rendered.

The correct, and incomplete, Amino Sugars, must be built up threw the agency of Dehydration Synthesis; by so doing the reverse process, ( Making Fat From Simple Amino Sugars ); will correct the diabetic syndrome.

If your sugar source, does not come naturally from the earth; then it is an improper form of dead nutrient; which will be rejected by all normal cells. ""

These answers all seem valid. Exercise, eat right lose weight if you are obese and take the meds you are prescribed. At the very bottom is an "example" diet. Diebetics have their diets tailored to them by working with dieticians who take into consideration weight loss or weight gain goals gender and activity and age and other restrictions like allergies and personal tastes.

Assuming your bg is too high all the time or your diabetes is too severe you shouldn't be using home remedies. The quality of the herbs and purity is not going to match that of synthetic insulin or drugs similar to metaformin (and newer) which increase your body's sensitivity to the insulin it produces (Type II's)

If you are borderline, you are producing some insulin but it is not always enough, and are being monitored by a Dr get Doc's approval first so he knows what you are doing and find out more from your pharmacist as a follow up.

Bottome line, the pharmacist will have many things like chromium picolinate which increases insulin sensitivity and know alot about them its their job. They will know about drug interactions with other medicines you may be taking, but if you are insulin dependent you will not get good results from herbal/alternative treatments.

If finances is the reason you would want to cut back on the meds your dr should have resourses or your SS office. If you control without meds find out what to take at your vitamin world where they are trained or even better your pharmacist.

Also a diet that consists primarily of lean meats and dairy; high-fiber grains, vegetables and legumes; leafy greens; and fruit will substantially aid the body’s ability to balance insulin levels. Healthy fats, or those rich in essential fatty acids (EFA’s), are also important in an insulin–resistance diet. EFA’s can be found in avocados, cold-water fish like salmon and tuna, flax seed, and eggs.
