I'm looking to lose about fifteen pounds as fast as possible,I'm getting tired of having self esteem issues because of a bit of pudge on my belly and behind,what's the best way to lose weight quickly and effectively??

The most effective way to lose weight is small changes in your lifestyle, limiting your calories, and CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISE.

I cannot stress that last part enough. That is what will burn fat. You need at least 20 minutes in a session to see results, 30 is better, 40 is great. Pick something you enjoy (hiking, swimming, cycling, jogging, etc.)

Make small changes to your eating habits — choose water over soda at dinner. Replace white bread with wheat bread. Snack on low-fat popcorn instead of chips.

Park the car at the far end of the lot instead of the closest space. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Limit your calorie intake…go figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate, and aim for 500-1,000 calories less than that. Don't eat less than 1000 calories per day, this will not help you lose weight but have the opposite effect!

Overall, fad diets don't work and neither does strictly weight-training exercise.

1-3 pounds a week is healthy weight loss.

    Step1
    No White at Night. Follow this rule, it really works. No white at night means that after 7:00 p.m. you cannot eat: white rice, sugars, pastas, starches or breads. Think about how much that will cut out of your diet. You shouldn't really eat anything after about 7:30 p.m. but especially not any of the "white" items above. If you must eat late at night, make sure you are eating complex carbs (wheat bread, whole grains, proteins) and not sugars and heavy pastas.
    Step2
    As a general rule you should cut out sugar and starches. Skip the following: sugar sodas, cookies, candy, breads and NO fattening Starbuck's coffee drinks. Do you know how many calories are in a venti frappacino?

    Choices should made wisely. Instead of a bagel and cream cheese and a venti mocha, go with a banana, and piece of cheese for breakfast.

    For lunch, stick with soups and salads. No croutons! Salad dressing should be balsamic vinegrette. If you a sandwich, make sure it is wheat bread, no mayo and no cheese.

    For dinner, grill some veggies with olive oil and have a small piece of steak or fish. Cutting out carbs will be easy and will taste good!

    Opt for vegetables and dip or peanuts as a snack. Try cheese and salami and forget the crackers.
    Step3
    Get some exercise! Walk everywhere! Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk as much as possible. Walk up and down your stairs at least 10 times a day. Take 10 things out of your purse and leave them upstairs- go downstairs, go back upstairs and grab one thing at a time so that you get some exercise.

    Instead of sending an email to a colleague across the office, get up from your computer during the day and walk around the office and talk to them in person.

    The best way to lose weight quickly is exercising, and changing your eating havits, i know, it sounds like too much, but is not, is really easy once you do it every day, and is not only going to help your appereance, is also going to help your health, did you know that every extra minute you walk, equals one more minute of living longer../well and the self esteem is another problem that you need to take care of, i think that loosing waight is going to help you alot, but if not, then you can see a doctor for better advises about how to increasse your selfesteem

    lots of arobic excersize!!!!!!! lots of water!!!! no fast food!!!!!! lots of fruits and veggies !!!!! choose water over pop …for a snack, have some carrots instead of potato chips…and eat 3 MEALS A DAY!!!!! dont starve yourself!!!! it will all come back to haunt you later
